Non-Personal Information

Data Imported from Garmin Connect
If you choose to connect a Garmin device or the Garmin Connect™ platform with BioNexus, and after you explicitly authorize the connection on Garmin’s consent screen, we receive the following categories of data from Garmin International, Inc. (“Garmin”):
• menstrual‑cycle schedule data (period start date, cycle length, current phase, optional pregnancy snapshot)
• wellness and physiological summaries (sleep metrics, heart‑rate variability, stress, respiration, skin temperature, daily activity and similar)
• workout summaries (only if you enable this permission)

This data is transferred to us via the Garmin Connect Developer APIs using secure OAuth 1.0a authorization.

2. How We Use Collected Information

BioNexus may collect and use users' personal information for the following purposes:

• To improve customer service – Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

• To personalize user experience – We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our users as a group use the services and resources provided on our site.

• To improve our site – We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.

• To send periodic emails – We may use the email address to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If the user decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

How We Use Garmin Data
BioNexus uses the data received from Garmin Connect solely to:

generate personalized cycle forecasts, sleep and stress insights

display charts and recommendations inside the BioNexus application you are using

improve our prediction models in an aggregated and anonymized manner (no individual is identifiable in this analysis).

We do not use Garmin data for advertising, and we do not sell or license it to third parties.

BioNexus does not sell, trade, or rent users' personal identification information to others. Garmin remains an independent data controller for any data stored in your Garmin Connect account; BioNexus only processes the subset of data you have authorized us to receive.

10. Revoking Garmin Connect Access

You may disconnect BioNexus from your Garmin Connect account at any time:

1. Log in to Garmin Connect on the web.

2. Navigate to Account Settings › Account Information › Data Management › Manage Connections.

3. Remove “BioNexus” from the list of connected applications.

Once disconnected, BioNexus will stop receiving new Garmin data immediately. You may also request deletion of previously imported Garmin data by e‑mailing info@bionexus.ch.
